DXFTool Staging
ASSISTED PATTERN DIGITIZATION

Digitize paper patterns without starting every trace from scratch

Start with one scan, photo, or archived pattern. DXFTool creates a reviewable outer-contour DXF draft with overlays and QA evidence; you check it in ET/CAD before choosing cleanup or a batch quote.

No production guarantee: scale, notches, seam allowance, grading, internal construction, and hidden edges still require professional review.

ONE SAMPLE FIRST

A small service test before a larger commitment

The first goal is to prove that the image can become a useful tracing base and reduce rework—not to sell a production promise from a screenshot.

01
Free suitability review

Send one representative image, a known dimension, your software version, monthly volume, and current digitization method. We classify it as clear, borderline, or unsuitable.

02
Level 1 DXF draft

Receive visible outer contours, ET R12 DXF files, overlays, and QA notes using the physical scale you provide.

03
Review, then quote

Check the draft in ET/CAD and compare cleanup time with tracing from zero. Only then scope Level 2 cleanup or a repeat batch.

Good first-test inputs

  • Flat, sharp scans or photos with the full piece visible
  • A ruler, scan resolution, or one verified physical dimension
  • Strong contrast between the pattern boundary and background
  • A user who can open and inspect DXF in ET or another CAD tool

What this service does not decide

The draft does not infer missing pattern knowledge. It cannot safely invent hidden contours, construction lines, seam allowances, grading rules, notches, or production approval.

Level 2 is quoted only after the sample and required manual work are visible. Price and delivery are not fixed on this page.

Have a real paper pattern to test?

Send one representative image. The useful answer may be clear, borderline, or unsuitable; that decision is more valuable than forcing a bad conversion.
